The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's F-16 System Program Office plans to award a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a two-year option for providing bracket parts and kit assemblies used on current and future F-16 aircraft blocks. This procurement is a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 336413, with a size standard of 1,250 employees. The contract will require the selected contractor to manufacture, assemble, and deliver a variety of brackets and bracket kits composed of diverse metals and plastics, including common fasteners like clamps, screws, nuts, bolts, and rivets. Each delivery order will come with specific drawings, statements of work, and reporting requirements that must be adhered to, including the possible marking of parts with unique identification (UID). The contractor must be capable of managing multiple delivery orders of varying complexity simultaneously and maintain a quality assurance program compliant with SAE AS9100 and AS9102 standards to ensure adherence to government specifications. Delivery orders will specify quantities ranging from single units up to 1,000 parts, with the government potentially requesting rough orders of magnitude for costing and budget planning. This notice serves as a synopsis for market research to identify capable sources and does not solicit proposals or commit the government to contract. Performance is expected at the contractor’s U.S. facilities, with points of contact designated for contractual and program management inquiries.
