The Department of Defense, through the DLA Weapons Support office at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of supplying F-16 Horizontal Stabilizers, part number 16T7461-835, National Stock Number 1560-01-619-8981 WF. This notice serves as both a Request for Information and Synopsis to determine if commercial or non-developmental items exist that meet their specifications and to enhance competition and small business access to acquisition opportunities. The estimated quantity is 35 units with an anticipated delivery starting in February 2028. It is important to note that this announcement is not a solicitation, nor does it represent a commitment to contract or payment for responses. A key requirement for prospective suppliers is engineering source approval by the design control activity to maintain part quality, indicating that only qualified sources with existing design capability, manufacturing knowledge, and data rights will be considered.
