The US Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) in Vicksburg, Mississippi plans to award a sole source contract to ARDL Inc. for analytical services using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. ARDL Inc. is uniquely qualified to provide these services, ensuring consistency in preparation and analytical methods across sampling periods. The contract supports the second phase of the Makua Military Reservation project, which arises from a settlement under the Malama Makua Federal lawsuit. The work involves processing tissue samples and producing an analytical data report, with ARDL Inc. required to hold certification from either the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Conference (NELAC) or the Department of Defense Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (DoD ELAP). This notice serves to inform potential competitors that they may respond in writing within six calendar days if they believe they can provide comparable services more advantageously to the government. Responses must be clearly supported with evidence of capability, and mere requests for documentation will not count as affirmative responses. If no qualified responses are received, the government will proceed with the sole source award. The contract falls under the NAICS code 541380, Testing Laboratories, with a size standard of $14 million. Interested parties are instructed to send responses to the specified email addresses provided in the announcement.
