PROSPECTUS NOTICE TO POTENTIAL BIDDERS. The Lolo National Forest will issue Solicitation No R1-16-05-0002Q for machine site prep and brush disposal on the Missoula and Superior Ranger Districts of the Lolo National Forest. This solicitation should be issued in late fall 2004 or early winter of 2005. To ensure that potential bidders may see the areas to be excavator piles prior to heavy snowfall, a guided tour of the areas will be provided prior to issuing the quote. The work anticipated under any contract resulting from the solicitation will be started as soon as conditions on-the-ground are favorable for the prosecution of the work next summer (estimate early July starting date).Site Visit: A Forest Service site visit of the units will leave the Missoula Ranger District Office at 8:00 a.m. on October 7, 2004. Another site site visit will leave the Superior Ranger District Office at 8:00 a.m. on October 8, 2004. Those participating in the site visits must furnish their own transportation and may wish to bring a lunch. Please inform the District Office if you plan to attend by calling Gary Lynam at +1 (555) 000-0000 at the Missoula Ranger District or Jim Burwasser at +1 (555) 000-0000 at the Superior Ranger District before noon on the day before the site visit.
