The Forest Service seeks proposals for presale services on the Three Rivers Ranger District, Colville National Forest. Project location is near the towns of Kettle Falls and Colville, Stevens County, Washington. The work consists of GPS Traversing, Boundary Posting and Painting, Tree Marking, and Cruising (sample and 3P). The areas/projects are Deadman and Independently Salvage. The resulting contract shall be a two year, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, performance based, contract acquired under commercial items procedures, with the work for Deadman being awarded in 2005 and Independently Salvage in 2006. The contract is intended to provide the Government flexibility to order presale services as the need arises and as funding becomes available. The unit prices of an awarded schedule will be the basis for placement of task orders for the units described in the schedule. The Contractor will be paid for actual work ordered and completed per task order. Field Season is usually May 1 through November 30 of each season. Contractors and employees shall be highly qualified either as shown by certifications, past experience, and education. NAICS code is 115310 with size at $6.0 million.
