Full Description

Notice of intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole-source acquisition to Pratt & Whitney Military Aftermarket Services to provide Fan Turbine Inlet Temperature (FTIT) Probes for the Pratt & Whitney F100-PW-220 turbofan engine. The 56th Contracting Squadron intends to award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this procurement was made because the additional components are required to meet P&W engineering specifications and ensure safety of flight.
