The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research through a Sources Sought notice to identify qualified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) capable of performing comprehensive asbestos surveys and inventories at the Fort Meade and Hot Springs Veterans Affairs Medical Centers in South Dakota. Deliverables include two hard copy binders and one editable electronic workbook per campus containing inspector credentials, sampling results, risk assessments, cost estimates, and labeled photographs tied to each sample location. The contractor must handle all PPE, tools, waste disposal, decontamination, and compliance with AHERA, ASHARA, and NESHAP regulations, maintaining chain-of-custody records for asbestos waste.
