FA8118-26-R-0038- Remanufacture and Upgrade of B-52 Wing Flap PDU

The United States Air Force, through the Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker Air Force Base, is seeking to award a five-year Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the remanufacture and upgrade of the B-52 Wing Flap Power Drive Unit (PDU). The contract encompasses a three-year base period with a single two-year option, and performance will occur at the remanufacture site with delivery to the DLA Distribution Depot in Coffeyville, Oklahoma. Contractors must provide all labor, facilities, equipment, and materials required to disassemble, clean, inspect, maintain, reassemble, test, and finish the PDU to return it to a like-new condition, strictly adhering to Technical Orders, OEM specifications, and the Statement of Work, which takes precedence in case of conflict. The work involves two primary line items: Item 0001, which covers the replacement of the electro-mechanical actuator (NSN 1680-00-605-9700FG, PN 5-48705-54), with a basic year estimated quantity of 33 units and 22 under the option period; and Item 0002, which entails the upgrade of the existing actuator from PN 5-48705-53 to PN 5-48705-54, with a basic year estimated quantity of three units and two under the option period. An over-and-above line item is included for additional requirements to be negotiated separately, and data deliverables are not separately priced but are required under the contract. The contract requires full compliance with military packaging and marking standards, including MIL-STD-130 for item marking, MIL-STD-2073-1 for packaging, and MIL-STD-129 for container and shipping label specifications, with additional requirements outlined in AFMC Form 158, such as OEM name, model number, and serial number markings.
