The Army Contracting Command at Letterkenny Army Depot is seeking information from industry to identify capable manufacturers for the fabrication of six specific door subassemblies identified by drawing numbers 11453429 REV P, 11453430 REV N, 11453431 REV N, 11453432 REV L, 11453434 REV V, and 11453435 REV AD. These drawings are export controlled under Distribution D, containing unclassified sensitive military data, and only vendors with a current DD Form 2345 on file with DLIS and an active DoW contract may request access. Interested parties must be registered in SAM.gov and operate under NAICS code 332999, with a small business size standard of 750 employees. The government has not yet decided whether this will lead to a full and open competition or a set-aside, and responses will inform its procurement strategy. Vendors are required to submit a detailed capabilities statement addressing company qualifications, socioeconomic status, SAM registration, whether they will be the manufacturer or distributor, in-house manufacturing percentage, subcontractor usage, ability to handle specialized processes like two-component epoxy bonding and MIL-DTL-5541/MIL-PRF-23377 coatings, quality management systems such as ISO 9001 or AS9100, testing capabilities for MIL-STD-810 compliance, estimated production lead times, experience with similar commercial products, and identification of cost drivers. The response must also include an explanation of how the company meets the 50% performance requirement under a potential small business set-aside, along with recommendations to improve the drawings or remove any unnecessary restrictions on competition. All submissions are due by 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time on July 13, 2026, and must be sent to Thomas C. Hall at the provided email address.
