The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SPAWARSYSCEN Pacific)intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) No. N66001-09-R-0033 for customizedfabrication of photonic integrated circuits (PIC) based on government-furnishedcircuit designs. The fabricated PICs will be used for processing broadband RFsignals for use in future military systems that support Command, Control,Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) activities. SPAWARSYCENPacific anticipates a single-award, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantitytype contract with a cost-plus-fixed-fee pricing arrangement. The estimatedlevel of effort is 15,350 hours for the planned period of performance thatconsists of a one (1) year base period and four (4) one-year options. Thisprocurement is 100 percent set-aside for small business.
