The solicitation was intended to establish an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Long-Term Contract with a two-year base period and three additional one-year options, not to exceed five years total. It was a HUBZone Set-Aside for small businesses that are SBA certified HUBZone manufacturers or dealers supplying HUBZone-manufactured products, with a size standard of 1,000 employees under NAICS code 336413. The solicitation covered twenty-three National Stock Numbers (NSNs) for various fabric-related items used across multiple military aircraft and special forces equipment, including platforms like the B-52 Stratofortress, B-2 Bomber, F-15 Eagle, A-10 Thunderbolt, and several helicopters. Quantities for each NSN were specified and intended to remain consistent throughout the base and option periods, with FOB Origin terms and inspection/acceptance at origin. Multiple awards were anticipated with evaluations conducted line-by-line by NSN. However, this entire procurement was cancelled. The solicitation was originally posted in late 2014 and was to be accessed electronically through the DIBBS website, with no paper copies issued. Point of contact information was provided for acquisition specialists and contracting officers. Although the contract aimed to support long-term fabric supply needs for a range of defense platforms, the cancellation means that no awards or contracts under this solicitation will proceed.
