Facilities Specialty Service Providers RFP

The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD is issuing a Request for Proposals to engage Facilities Specialty Service Providers for a range of maintenance and construction services including electrical, painting, plumbing, flooring, door hardware and locksmith work, paving and striping, doors, fence installation and repair, restoration and waterproofing, roofing, HVAC, general contracting, environmental services, and event equipment rental. The solicitation, identified as FY26-0478, was posted on July 28, 2026, and all specifications are available on the center’s website and through its Bonfire procurement portal. A non-mandatory vendor conference is scheduled for August 6, 2026, at the center’s headquarters in Houston, Texas, and all questions from interested parties must be submitted by the same day. Proposals are due by 10:00 a.m. on August 20, 2026, and must be submitted via the designated online platform. The center retains full discretion to reject any or all proposals, waive minor procedural irregularities, and is not required to accept the lowest bid, prioritizing overall best value and alignment with operational needs.
