The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed-price contract to?FARO Technologies, Inc., Address: 125 Technology Park, Lake Mary, Florida 32746-6204?for the FARO annual calibration of the existing FBI FARO equipment in support of Operational Projects Unit (OPU) in the Training Division (TD). FARO is the sole provider for its software service, warranty, maintenance, annual calibration, and training programs, therefore, FARO technologies Inc., is the Sole Source capable of fulfilling the requirements of the FBI. This notice will be distributed solely through the U.S. General Services Administration's sam.gov website (www.sam.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the sam.gov website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(b)(1).
