AI Contract Overview
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for the supply of live fathead minnows, specifically grade 11-18, to be delivered primarily between June and October, though purchases may occur year-round. Contractors must comply with all DATCP requirements and provide a valid Fish Health Certificate (FHC) accompanied by diagnostic lab reports with each load. The Department reserves the right to test the forage periodically and may reject shipments that do not meet standards, requesting replacements either from the original contractor or an alternate awardee. The contract is awarded annually on a location-by-location basis, with each location awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, and contractors are not required to bid on all sites. The contract term is for one year without renewal options, and a 2026 Checklist Form must be completed prior to the first delivery. Interested bidders should direct questions to the Department's contact person, Konrad Plachetta, by March 25, 2026, before the bid submission deadline on April 1, 2026. All specifications and additional details are provided in the bid documents, ensuring clarity on the requirements and award procedures for this solicitation.
