The Troop Support Business Opportunities Office (BOO) has experienced an outage affecting all authorized facsimile machines with numbers [phone hidden], 9301, 9302, 9303, 8558, and 9216, rendering them unable to receive faxes since June 28, 2018. This issue impacts any facsimile transmissions submitted after this date, potentially influencing companies' contract awards and the resolution of related matters communicated via fax. Technicians are actively addressing the problem, and a follow-up notification will be provided through the Defense Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) once the machines are operational again. Entities that have sent faxes to these lines are advised to contact their respective contracting officers or acquisition specialists to discuss their submissions and explore alternate communication methods during this period. The Chief of the Business Process Support Branch, Nate Prattico, can be contacted for further assistance. Until the issue is resolved, any fax transmissions to the BOO will not be received, and stakeholders should coordinate closely with contracting personnel to ensure uninterrupted communication and submission of necessary documents.
