Amendment 0002 is hereby issued to correct the glazing specification listed in the Schedule of Supplies. The Approved Statement of Work for Project 26Z4AM7 requires ¼" tempered half‑lite glazing for all door assemblies. The Schedule of Supplies previously listed ½" tempered glazing, which was incorrect. The Schedule of Supplies has been updated to reflect the correct ¼" tempered half‑lite glazing requirement. 


Lines 0002 and 0004 have also been corrected and changed from right-hand to left-hand.


Amendment 0001 extends the solicitation opening date until 5/26/2026. 


This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.


This acquisition IS set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, FCI Oxford located at County Road G & Elk Avenue, Oxford, WI 53952, intends to issue a solicitation for the following requirement:


FCI Oxford intends to make a single award to a responsible vendor to supply ten (10) detention‑grade hollow metal doors and frames, or approved equal, in accordance with the attached Statement of Work for Project 26Z4AM7. This procurement is supply only; no installation, demolition, or onsite services are required.


The furnished door assemblies will replace existing hollow metal security doors in the Health Services area that have exceeded their service life. All products must meet or exceed the performance, dimensional, and material requirements specified in the SOW, including applicable ASTM, HMMA, NFPA, and AWS standards. Vendors offering equal products shall provide complete technical documentation for Government review and determination of technical acceptability.


The Government anticipates awarding a firm‑fixed‑price contract. Award will be made to the responsible vendor whose quotation conforms to the solicitation and is determined to be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Technical acceptability and price will be evaluated in accordance with the solicitation.


The solicitation will be made available on or about May 6, 2026, and will be posted to the GPE website at www.sam.gov. All future information related to this acquisition, including any solicitation amendments and award notices, will also be disseminated through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information regarding this solicitation.


Registration in SAM: Each offeror must be registered in www.SAM.gov and must complete the necessary representations and certifications in SAM at the time of submitting their quotation.
Delivery Lead Time: Offerors shall provide estimated delivery lead times for all equipment. Lead time will be considered in the Government’s evaluation but is not a technical requirement.
Quotation Deadline: The anticipated closing date for receipt of quotations is May 25, 2026, at 12:00 pm Central Time.
Payment Terms: Payment will be processed via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) in accordance with 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer- System for Award Management
Additional Requirements: Offerors must include a specification sheet and any submittal information about the products offered in their quotation. Faxed and hand-delivered quotes will not be accepted.
