Spartanburg County School District 6 is seeking proposals for a competitive fixed price contract for fencing services across multiple school facilities in South Carolina. The scope of work includes the installation and repair of industrial galvanized steel chain link, black vinyl coated steel, and decorative black fencing, as well as various gate types and panic bar kits. Contractors are responsible for all site measurements, utility mark-outs via 811, and maintaining all necessary South Carolina business licenses and permits. Standard projects must be completed within 30 days after receipt of order, while repair services require a 48-hour response for standard calls and a 12-hour response for emergency safety or security threats. Award will be granted to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with evaluations based on cost, company qualifications, insurance, and a minimum of three references. Bidders must submit a sealed proposal by October 29, 2026, including a completed cost proposal sheet, W-9, and compliance with the South Carolina Illegal Immigration Reform Act and the South Carolina Drug-Free Workplace Act. All materials must meet CLFMI and ASTM standards, and contracts exceeding 100,000 dollars must comply with the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act. The contractor is required to provide general liability and worker's compensation insurance and must indemnify the District against any injury or property damage.
