Full Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Quote (RFQ) AG-82MK-S-15-0011. FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFQ are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-80 and are available in full text through Internet access at http://www.acquisition.gov/far. The United States Forest Service encourages the participation of small, disadvantaged, service disabled veteran, and women owned business enterprises. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332323 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Responsible small business concerns may submit an offer which will be considered by the Forest Service. The Government requires performance of the work described in these documents to supply, deliver, and unload fencing materials as further described in the Schedule of Items. Quotes are due for this combined synopsis/solicitation on May 28, 2015 at 3:00PM Mountain Time and shall be delivered by the specified time electronically to contact@example.gov. Alternatively, they may be delivered to USFS/GMUG, Attn: Jay Tobin, 2250 Highway 50, Delta, CO 81416. Facsimile proposals will not be accepted. All questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted via e-mail. The Forest Service anticipates awarding from one to three Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) to provide the necessary geographic coverage. BPAs will be for a five-year term with no renewal option. Award will be based upon best value to the Government considering price, availability and delivery schedule. Offerors must be registered at the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov) to be eligible for award. The Government reserves the right to adjust the quantity ordered based on the availability of funds and to make a single or multiple awards based upon pricing, delivery location(s), and the best interests of the Government.
