The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to procure fiber channel switch. This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written RFQ is attached. This RFQ does not commit the government to pay any costs incurred in the submission of a quotation or to award a contract for these supplies. It is also noted that the Contracting Officer is the only individual who may legally commit the Government to the expenditure of public funds in connection with this procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 333999. The Government anticipates awarding one firm-fixed price purchase order. Awards will be made to the vendor who submits a quotation that is Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable. Offers shall comply with all specifications detailed in the attachment! All quotes will be evaluated in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated herein. This acquisition incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text.
