Field Service Representative (FSR)

Field Service Representative (FSR) : Provide extended contractor representation at Yokota AB, Japan, in resident status to observe equipment performance, collect failure data, provide on-the-spot assistance on operational problems, and perform liaison duties between the contractor and the Government in conjunction with specific task assignments for C-5 AMP and RERP programs. Requirements for field representation may be presented to the contractor and authorized as integral parts of problem resolution task assignments or as separate task assignments. Contractor personnel assigned to field activities shall be fully qualified to represent the contractor on technical matters falling within the scope of the order. The FSR will conduct acceptable Contract Safety Program, and Mishap Notification/Investigation. The contractor is responsible for Engine Manager Support Service to include observation of equipment performance, collection of failure data and assistance with operational problems. Technical support and tracking of the F-138 engine and line replaceable units (LRUs) is required in order to maintain the warranty and product support agreements purchased by the Government. LMA is the only source that possesses the technical, engineering knowledge and expertise to complete the required engine management services while maintaining configuration control, schedule, aircraft availability, diminishing manufacturing sources, parts obsolescence and cost. This is a Sole Source to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics (LMA) Company. Technical date is not owned by the Government. Period of Performance for this effort will be, from: 12 May 2016 to 11 October 2016 (152 days).
