Fifth Street Widening and Replacement of the City Creek Bridge (#54C0016)

The City of Highland is undertaking the Fifth Street Widening and Replacement of the City Creek Bridge project in San Bernardino County, California. The scope of work focuses on infrastructure improvements at City Creek, a tributary to the Santa Ana River, specifically involving the replacement of an outfall on the east bank of the City Creek Channel on the south side of the 5th Street Bridge. This modification is designed to accommodate additional storm flows from a regional 72-inch storm drain and includes the removal or abandonment of an existing 24-inch pipeline and outfall, as well as the removal and replacement of existing riprap.
