Description: (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number F3C3FD222A002 is being issued as a request for quotation. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-60. (iv) This acquisition is full and open competition with brand name restriction. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339113 with a size standard not to exceed 500 Employees. (v) Contract line items are: 0001AA -LTO-4203 Tails Bronze- Honeywell First Responder- Brand Name 0002AA - LTO-4203 Pants Bronze- Honeywell First Responder - Brand Name See attached Request for Quotation. (vi) Description of requirements for items to be acquired - Firefighter Personal Protective Clothing - Honeywell First Responder Brand Name Requirement (vii) FOB: Destination. Place of delivery is Minot AFB, ND 58705. (viii) The provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (ix) The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this procurement. The government will award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The other factors considered will be the ability to meet the salient characteristics of the items above. Award shall be based on best value to the government. (x) The government advises Offerors to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer.
