Solicitation # 111026
Solicitation RFP 111026, issued by Sourcewell in cooperation with the Chief Procurement Office of General Services for the State of Illinois, seeks to establish Master Agreements with qualified offerors for the provision of laboratory and science equipment, supplies, and related technology and services. The primary objective is to leverage collective purchasing volume to achieve best value and more favorable pricing for participating entities, including state governments, political subdivisions, and institutions of higher education. The solicitation is scheduled to close on November 10, 2026. The resulting Master Agreements feature an initial term of four years, with the possibility of up to three additional one-year extensions. For agreements executed by the State of Illinois, the total duration cannot exceed ten years. Vendors are required to provide an annual certification of compliance with the mandatory minimum requirements and technical specifications. Additionally, those contracting with the State of Illinois must be registered in the Illinois Procurement Gateway and BidBuy. Payments for Illinois-based agreements are governed by the State Prompt Payment Act and rules, and such agreements are contingent upon the availability of funds, allowing the state to terminate or suspend the agreement without penalty if appropriations are not met.
