Frisco Independent School District is seeking qualified vendors to provide services related to the inspection, testing, and maintenance of automatic fire sprinkler systems across multiple district facilities. The scope includes routine inspections, system upgrades, emergency repairs, and annual testing, with services scheduled in coordination with district personnel to minimize disruption, especially during summer breaks. Vendors must be licensed in Texas, adhere to NFPA standards, and meet all local fire and building codes, including preparing and signing detailed working drawings for new or renovated systems. The contract is expected to be awarded based on a competitive process, with an estimated annual budget of approximately $250,000, though actual purchases will depend on district needs. The agreement may be renewed annually up to four times, ending on May 12, 2030, contingent upon performance and compliance. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the district’s IonWave system by March 10, 2025, and should include line-item pricing and any proposed alternates. The evaluation will consider factors such as cost, vendor reputation, service quality, compliance with specifications, and long-term value. The process emphasizes strict adherence to procurement policies, limited contact during the solicitation period, and the requirement that all work be authorized only after receipt of a valid purchase order. Vendors are also required to provide proof of licensing, comply with all relevant codes, and submit detailed reports promptly after inspections. The district reserves the right to reject any proposals, negotiate terms, or cancel the solicitation if deemed in its best interest.
