The work consists of successful completion of a day fishing, for up to 20 days, fishing for and tagging fish or other work, as determined by DFO. Scientific sampling and tagging of fish caught will be completed each day following the protocols developed by DFO. Other activities may include hauling traps and deploying acoustic receivers. 2.1.1 Tasks: The Contractor must successfully complete one (1) or more of the following tasks on each day for the work to be considered complete work according to the established protocols: 2.1.1.1 Fish caught and tagged 2.1.1.2 Setting and hauling of longline gear 2.1.1.3 Setting and hauling of traps 2.1.1.4 Deploying and / or retrieving moored acoustic receivers The information from the additional tasks must be provided to the chief scientist onboard the vessel in a manner (verbally, in writing, electronically, et.) agreed upon by both parties before sailing on each trip. 2.1.1.5 Location, date and time of each gear deployment 2.1.1.6 Location, date and time of each gear retrieval
