Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) is seeking to modernize its established fisheries Electronic Monitoring (EM) program and is also exploring opportunities to establish new EM programs in fisheries that currently lack electronic monitoring, to ensure comprehensive and effective monitoring of Canada’s fisheries. DFO is seeking feedback from the industry, particularly the Electronic Monitoring industry, including, but not limited to, the supplier's capabilities to provide equipment, review services, software, or AI-assisted services.
