The Fishermen’s Terminal (FT) Entry Redevelopment Project will consist of redeveloping the entry and exit drives (19th Ave W), the building footprint of the Downie Building (C-14), and associated parking. Existing pavement in poor condition in these areas will be milled and overlaid, with existing stormwater infrastructure replaced and expanded for additional runoff collection and diversion from existing combined sewer infrastructure to dedicated storm lines. Stormwater water quality treatment is anticipated for the replacement of qualifying pavement surfaces. The C-14 building slab remaining from Phase 1 will be demolished, with the footprint replaced by a combination of additional parking and green space/pollinator habitat with the potential integration of a stormwater treatment facility. A new irrigation system will be installed for this green space, and landscaping in the replaced median within the entry drive. Electric vehicle (EV) charging stations will be installed in the new parking area.
