Notice is hereby given that Northampton Community College will accept sealed proposals for Flashing Warning Device Installation along Green Pond Road (SR 2028) within Bethlehem Township, Northampton County, PA. Bids will be accepted until 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 24th, 2025 via PennBid (Pennbid.Bonfirehub.com) only. Results will be generated automatically immediately after bid opening. Plans and specifications are available online at no charge via PennBid (Pennbid.Bonfirehub.com). Questions must be submitted via PennBid by 5:00 PM, Monday, July 21st, 2025. Submission of a question does not guarantee that such question will be answered. All proposals (bids) are to be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the total bid. The College reserves the right to waive any minor informalities, irregularities or defects in the bid; or to reject any or all of the bids. The successful Bidder must comply with Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. All Bidders are required to establish proof of competency and responsibility, in accordance with 67 PA Code Chapter 457, Regulations Governing Prequalification of Prospective Bidders and PennDOT Form 408/2020, as supplemented and amended, Section 102. Subcontractors must prequalify in the same manner, if listed in the proposal or if they subsequently undertake the partial or total construction of one or more items of work. All Bidders and Subcontractors must be PennDOT prequalified.
