SYNOPSIS: NSN: 6230-01-381-3292 FLASHLIGHT - P/N 6P December 13, 2011 The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) intends to issue an unrestricted formal Request for Proposal (RFP) for the acquisition of one NSN, 6230-01-381-3292 (Flashlight), under solicitation number SPM8E8-12-R-0004. The approved source is Surefire, LLC. (0BJZ8), P/N 6P. If the product offered is other than the Surefire flashlight, an equal product manufactured domestically or in a "Trade Agreement Act" country (see DFARS 252.225-7021), I/A/W the following specifications, will be considered. Flashlight Light Source: Incandescent Lamp Lumens: 65. Batteries: CR123 Lithium (2 Each) (1 Hour) Included. High-strength anodized aluminum body Length 5.20 inches (+/- 10%) Bezel Diameter 1.25 inches (+/- 10%) Weight w/Batteries 5.2 ounces (+/- 10%) Tactical tailcap switch-press for momentary-on, twist for constant on Color: Black Offerers supplying other than SUREFIRE product must submit 2 samples for evaluation along with a technical data package. Solicitation period will be 30 days; Issue Date: December 20, 2011, Closing Date: January 31, 2012. This procurement will be for a stock Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC), which will be awarded in accordance with procedures in FAR 12 (Acquisition of commercial items.) The IQC will consist of a two-year base and three possible one-year options. All proposals must include a copy of a completed solicitation with a Firm-Fixed Price for the two-year base and delivery data. The provisions in the Economic Price Adjustments (EPA) clause will provide for adjustments of option year pricing. Follow directions as outlined in the solicitation. All responsible sources must submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. After solicitation open date, copies of the solicitation will be available on the DIBBS website. Interested parties will be able to obtain and view all required information to respond to the solicitation. The annual estimated demand quantity is 41,000 EA. Required delivery is 60 days after the date of the delivery order. Deliveries will be to the Defense Distribution Depot located in New Cumberland, PA, 17070-5002 and/or the Defense Distribution Depot located in Tracy, CA, 95304-5000. An award is anticipated by the end of May 2012.
