This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The U.S. Department of the Treasury, Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) anticipates awarding a non-competitive sole source firm fixed price contract for Flowsys upgrades to KBA. KBA / GIORI North America / Real Time Solutions is the developer of FlowSys, a proprietary software system that is tightly integrated with BEP press electronics. KBA / GIORI North America / Real Time Solutions is the only vendor that can provide this service. Interested organizations should submit a complete package by the due date, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement and which describes their capabilities related to the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
