AI Contract Overview
The contract solicits the repair of two hydraulic motor-pumps, identified by NSN 1650012246682 and part number 70550-02046-106, under Foreign Military Sales case DE-P-RAJ. The Navy’s Weapon Systems Support office in Philadelphia plans to award this on a sole source basis through an existing Blanket Ordering Agreement, as the government lacks sufficient data to engage alternate sources. Compliance with various trade agreements, including the Free Trade Agreements and the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement, is required. Any potential source must obtain government source approval before award, with the understanding that the timing for new source approval typically prevents delay in contract award. Bidders not already approved must submit detailed documentation as outlined in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure to be considered. The solicitation, identified as FMS-Solicitation-N0038326QF145, was posted on June 10, 2026, with responses due by July 10, 2026. The work is to be performed in Stratford, Connecticut, and is managed by the Department of Defense under NAICS code 336413. Interested parties needing clarification can contact Liam Cunningham via the provided Navy email. Proposals lacking complete source approval information will be disqualified. The full solicitation details are accessible through the SAM.gov link associated with this opportunity.
