Teton County, Wyoming, is soliciting sealed bids for the Food Waste Facility Insulation Project at the Teton County Trash Transfer Station. The project involves the installation of closed-cell polyurethane spray foam insulation on the opaque exterior wall and roof assemblies of an approximately 4,800-square-foot pre-engineered metal building. The scope of work includes substrate preparation, air sealing, vapor-control continuity, and the protection of existing improvements. Because the facility will remain active during construction, the selected contractor must sequence and contain work to ensure the safety of employees and the protection of operations and equipment. Bids must be submitted electronically via Public Purchase by October 14, 2026. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with preference given to Wyoming resident contractors. A 5% bid security is required for contracts exceeding 150,000 dollars. Additionally, Addendum No. 1 introduces Additive Alternate No. 1, which requires a separately priced lump-sum bid for interior spray foam insulation and exterior metal cladding for existing translucent wall panels. Technical specifications mandate the use of Demilec HFO Highloft spray foam and Tyvek air barriers in compliance with International Residential and Building Codes.
