The State of Minnesota is issuing a formal Request for Proposal to establish a long-term contract with one or more Contractors capable of supplying Medium and Light Duty Pickup Trucks, specifically the 2025 Ford F-150 model, to various state agencies and Cooperative Purchasing Venture members on an as-needed basis. The contract aims to ensure the availability of new OEM equipment that complies with all applicable regulations, with the possibility of future solicitations for additional MY25 pickup trucks. Bids must be submitted exclusively through the Supplier Portal by September 3, 2024, and responses via email or non-electronic means will not be accepted. The solicitation includes updates via addenda posted in late August 2024, and prospective responders are encouraged to submit questions by August 27, 2024, to the designated contact. The contract scope emphasizes statewide delivery capabilities, requiring Contractors to provide adequate staffing for customer service, order processing, and overall contract management. The State reserves the right to award multiple contracts and to consider participation in NASPO or other available contracts if deemed in its best interest. All vehicles supplied must be new, OEM-equipped, and meet all relevant federal and state standards. The contract size ranges from five million to twenty million dollars, and the primary point of contact for inquiries is Paul Thomas, a State employee. The procurement process is managed by the Minnesota Department of Administration/State Procurement, with additional information accessible through the provided online portal.
