PROJECT OBJECTIVE: This work aims to improve the visitor experience of the users of the hall building for events, as well as reducing the maintenance workload on Parks operations staff by replacing the aging infrastructure with new durable materials. 1. All work shall be in accordance with all local and provincial codes and regulations. All work shall be performed by a qualified tradesman, tested and under warranty for a period of one year from acceptance date of work. 2. The contractor shall provide all labour, materials, tools, equipment, and services including transportation necessary to complete the Work. The intent is that the Contractor provides a complete job. Demolition and disposal costs are to be included in the contractor’s quote. The site is to be clear of all debris upon completion of the demolition work. 3. The contractor shall be responsible for all damages to the building and services as a result of this work, activities of this work and activities of his workmen or their negligent security arrangements. Damages shall be repaired at contractor’s own expense. 4. All products shall be as specified or a prior-approved equal before contractor commences work. The costs of any changes affecting other disciplines, including approved alternatives, shall be included in the contract cost.
