05/05/2026: Question and answer:
Q. - I am requesting clarification on how the CLINs should be priced?
A. - For CLINs 0001, 0003, and 0005 - we're looking to get a lump sum (job lot) price for two (2) rounds of preventative maintenance per year on the seven (7) machines listed in the statement of work.
For example, if you figure for the first year, one preventative maintenance service will cost $500 per machine, and round-trip travel costs to perform the one service will be $2,000.00, then one round of preventative maintenance service would be $5,500.00. For two services in the first year, this would be $11,000.00. For subsequent years, you might add a percentage for inflation and other cost increases.
For CLINs 0002, 0004, and 0006 - we're looking to get your hourly labor rate for any repairs that are needed. Overtime is not allowed for the most part on federal service contracts so there would not be an overtime rate.
