NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE


SPECIAL NOTICE: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District (USACE) will be soliciting proposals for PHASE I of the Design-Build-to-Budget (DB2B) Construction of the Fort Campbell Stagging and Marshaling Area Located in Fort Campbell, KY.


As part of the construction contract solicitation, USACE intends to include the following sole source requirements:


POWER/LIGHTING UTILITIES - Electrical CONNECTION FEE is to be paid by City Light and Power to provide permanent utility services to the facility. The fees are based on discussions with the utility providers and guidance regarding service, size and number of the connections and value of the work.


WATER UTILITIES – Water and sewer CONNECTION FEE is to be paid by Jacobs to provide permanent utility services to the facility. The fees are based on discussions with the utility providers and guidance regarding service, size and number of the connections and value of the work.


*This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals; however, if anyinterested party believes that they can meet the above requirement, theymay submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed in this Special Notice. All information furnished must be in writing and mustcontain sufficient detail to allow USACE to be able to determine if the interested party can perform the requirement described herein.


All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The submission must be received no later than 10:00 AM ET on 16 June 2026 to thomas.s.nauert@usace.army.mil.
