Fort Myers Regional Operations Center Relocation Services

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) is soliciting professional moving services to relocate property between two sites in Fort Myers, Florida: from 4700 Terminal Drive to 8421 Littleton Road, with final acceptance at 16595 Oriole Road. This procurement, identified as FDLE-ITB-2644, is a single-award, firm fixed price contract under a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation method, with bids due by June 11, 2026. Vendors must comply with a comprehensive set of state-specific mandatory certifications and attachments, including forms certifying the absence of forced labor, coercion, participation in boycotts of Israel, or operations in sanctioned countries, as well as submission of a Substitute W-9, Drug-Free Workplace Certification, and three verifiable references. All bidders must hold a valid Florida Intrastate Movers license and must ensure compliance with Florida Workers’ Compensation Law and state privacy protocols for handling confidential documents. The vendor is responsible for all labor, equipment, and materials required to safely disassemble, transport, and reassemble office contents without operational disruption, ensuring daily debris removal, overnight storage prohibition, and secure transportation via sealed trucks with pre-assigned security tags. The Department retains responsibility for packing and labeling items, while the vendor must protect all assets, submit an Inspection and Damage Report within 10 business days post-move, and bear full financial liability for any damage or loss. Personnel must undergo Department-approved background checks, wear identifiable attire, and adhere to strict security and confidentiality standards, with the right to remove any individual deemed a risk to state interests.
