THIS POSTING WILL BE AMENDED AT A LATER DATE TO A SYNOPSIS OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION WHICH WILL PROVIDE INSTRUCTIONS FOR BIDDERS TO RESPOND TO THIS OPPORTUNITY. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) has a potential requirement for a firm fixed-price service contract entitled, Pastoral Care Provider at FPC Duluth. FPC Duluth is a federal correctional facility located at 4464 Ralston Dr, Duluth MN 55811. The service consists of obtaining the non-personal services of an experienced ordained clergy with substantial experience in pastoral care, grief ministry, multi-religious relationships, and report writing as a support team with administration of FPC Duluth. The Pastoral Care Provider will serve at times when the Department Head Chaplain is not available due to fulfillment of Army Reserve duties. The Contractor shall be required to perform the non-personal services as indicated in the Statement of Work (SOW). This contract shall cover a base year starting October 1, 2018 through September 30, 2019 or 120 work days, whichever comes first. This contact may be extended one option year starting October 1, 2019, or the date of the 120th work day of the base year, until September 30, 2020 or 240 working days. Contract will not exceed 240 work days total. See the Statement of Work attached to this posting for further details. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 813110 with a corresponding small business size standard of $7.5 million. Interested bidders must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at WWW.SAM.GOV. The FBOP is seeking small business contractors for this service. Your business size metrics information entered in your SAM registration must be less than or equal to the small business size standard specified above. Other vendors who believe they can meet the requirement may provide written notification to the contracting officer by 12:00 PM CST, August 20, 2018. Supporting evidence must be furnished in detail to demonstrate the ability of the vendor to supply services that will meet the requirement in a satisfactory manner. Vendors must also provide references and show competition would be advantageous to the government. The synopsis of proposed contract action will include further instructions for responding to this opportunity.
