Freire Schools Collaborative is seeking a Managed Service Provider (MSP) to provide remote and occasional on-site IT infrastructure management and advanced technical support for its network of four charter schools and one central office across Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Wilmington, Delaware. The selected partner will work alongside the Network Director of IT and campus-based IT Coordinators to manage WAN/LAN infrastructure, provide 24/7 monitoring and alerting, and handle L2 and L3 technical support. Key responsibilities include incident response, root cause analysis, firewall policy management on Meraki MX appliances, and Windows server support. A primary project requirement is the Meraki switch standardization project, which involves the deployment, configuration, and decommissioning of 36 switches during the summer of 2026. The contract is anticipated to begin on July 1, 2026, and will be awarded based on a value-based trade-off evaluation. Scoring is weighted by price (30%), technical expertise and experience (20%), operational approach and capacity (20%), SLAs and responsiveness (20%), and references and past performance (10%). Critical performance benchmarks include a 30-minute response time for P1 critical incidents and on-site support within 24 hours if remote resolution fails. Proposals must be submitted by May 1, 2026, and must include a detailed staffing model, technical certifications, and a comprehensive cost structure. While the MSP is not responsible for E-Rate application management, familiarity with E-Rate Category 1 and 2 services is highly valued.
