Established in 1999, Freire Schools Collaborative (“Freire Schools”) is a network of four charter schools, approximately 2000 students, in Philadelphia, PA and Wilmington, DE whose mission is to prepare students from historically underserved communities for success in college and beyond. Freire Schools is seeking proposals from qualified Managed Service Providers (referred to as “MSP”) to support in both remote and occasional on-site management of IT infrastructure and systems and provide ongoing support, maintenance, and strategic services to a mid-size network with 5 locations (4 schools, 1 central office). The Provider will work in tandem with the Network Director of IT and the IT Coordinator staffed at each campus.
The selected MSP will serve as the Network and Advanced Technical Support partner for the organization, working collaboratively with the Network Director of IT and campus-based IT Coordinators. The MSP’s scope of services will include, but not be limited to, Network Infrastructure Management, Monitoring and Alerting, Advanced Technical Support, Incident Response and Resolution, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Strategic Planning and Advising.
MSP must demonstrate sufficient staffing capacity to support advanced L2 and L3 network issues when they arise.
