Fremont Elementary School Campus Buildings and Site Improvements

The Antioch Unified School District is undertaking a comprehensive campus improvement project at Fremont Elementary School in Antioch, California. The scope of work involves the construction of several new facilities, including a transitional kindergarten and kindergarten classroom building, an administration building, and a multipurpose room. Additionally, the project will feature the development of playgrounds for TK/K and 3rd through 5th grade students, a grass turf field, and two designated drop-off areas with parking along with other general site improvements. To facilitate these upgrades, the project requires the demolition of six existing structures, which include the current administrative building, the multipurpose room building, and four portable classrooms. This forecast is managed by the Director of Facilities, Miguel Cruz, and aims to modernize the school's infrastructure to better serve its student population.
