The USDA-ARS-NCAUR-Peoria, IL, intends to award a sole source procurement to C.W. Brabender Instruments, Inc, 50 East Wesley Street, South Hackensack, NJ 07606-1495 pursuant to the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will satisfy Agency Requirements. The award will be for a 05-21-000.001 FSR Postex Horizontal Sheet Extrusion Take-Off with CAN Communication. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price Purchase Order for the FSR Postex Horizontal Sheet Extrusion Take-Off on or about August 14, 2017, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This Notice of Intent is not considered a Request for Quotation (RFQ) nor is it a Request for Proposals (RFP). No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. The NAICS code for this action is 334519. ARS requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must have an "Active Registration" in SAM (System for Award Management).
