FTCC - Cumberland Hall Building Replacement

Fayetteville Technical Community College is soliciting professional architectural engineering services for the Cumberland Hall Building Replacement, a project with a total budget of 42 million dollars. The scope involves the planning, design, and construction administration of a new two to three story, 65,000 gross square foot facility located on the main campus near the Hull Road entrance. This high-performance building will feature a 500 plus seat auditorium with a ticket office, concession area, and kitchen, alongside state-of-the-art classrooms, laboratory spaces, collaboration zones, faculty offices, and conference rooms. Required infrastructure upgrades include a new parking lot with dedicated ADA spaces, advanced stormwater management systems, and a strategic access road connecting to the Building Trades Center. The project is managed under the college's Special Construction Delegation, meaning the State Construction Office will not be involved. Interested firms must be properly licensed to practice architecture, engineering, or landscape architecture in North Carolina. Submissions must be made electronically via the electronic Vendor Portal by October 22, 2026, and must include a current Standard Form 254 and a Letter of Interest not exceeding ten single-sided pages. The selection committee will evaluate respondents based on specialized expertise, past performance on similar projects, staff adequacy, current workload, proposed design approach, and familiarity with the local area.
