Bid price for diesel fuel #1 & #2, & bio-diesel additive are to be a fuel margin that will be added to the DOT rack pricing that is posted daily on our website. Winter & Summer Additive prices are per treated gallon. Iowa IMPACS system does not allow a negative value line unit price so in order to submit a negative line unit price, enter the value unit price and then identify positive price by selecting Positive in the Additional Items Fields and If you wish to bid a negative value please enter the value unit price but identify by selecting Negative in the Additional Items Fields. This will be a required question for all lines. Quantities noted on the Items tab are estimate only and may not accurately reflect ordering at this location. Tank size can be found on the Items tab. Bid price for fuel tank lease/rental are to be per month pricing. Please do not include lease/rental figures in your margin. The Iowa DOT bidding process is subject to the procedures and requirements established in Iowa Administrative Code 761--20. Shipping Terms Deliveries shall be F.O.B Destination. Award - Cost and Other Factors It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submission is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered.
