The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Modular Systems Specialists (MSS) for the disassembly, transport, rebuilding, and reinstall of 14 modular workstations using existing components and newly procured furniture parts, specifically four worksurfaces and four three-stage rectangle T feet. This action is justified under FAR 6.103-1 because MSS holds the original design drawings and specifications essential to maintaining form-fit-function integrity between the existing and new components, ensuring seamless reintegration at the new site. No competitive solicitation or request for quotes will be issued, as this procurement is designated solely for MSS due to their proprietary knowledge and historical role in maintaining these specialized workstations. Interested parties may submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to perform the required work without compromising quality, accuracy, reliability, or schedule, but only as a non-binding notice of interest. All responses must be submitted by 3 PM PST on June 15, 2026, referencing solicitation number N68936-26-SIMACQ-D800000/E800000-0001, to Christine Beltramo at the designated Navy email. Entities must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and certified through the Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) to access controlled unclassified information. Additionally, all new or renewed SAM registrations require a notarized letter identifying the authorized Entity Administrator, which must be on file within 30 days of registration to ensure eligibility for award. Prospective respondents are advised to maintain active SAM status well ahead of the deadline to avoid processing delays.
