--FY03 DOD RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY PROTECTION ANALYSIS, REPORTS & BRIEFINGS

The Department of the Army, through the Defense Contracting Command-Washington, plans to award a single source contract to Omega Systems Group based in Arlington, Virginia. This contract is intended to provide support to several high-level defense offices, including ASD(C3I), USD(1), USD(AT&L), and the DOT&E, by delivering a system designed to methodically analyze and protect designated research and technology information. The protection efforts are crucial throughout the research, development, testing and evaluation (RDT&E) phases, acquisition lifecycle, and extend through demilitarization and property disposal processes to prevent unauthorized or accidental disclosure or loss of sensitive information.
