AG-82BH-S-16-0029 FY16 Denver Water Hand Thinning This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-89. See attached solicitation and attachments. DESCRIPTION OF WORK - The US Forest Service has a requirement for Construction of fuel modification zones including cutting of trees, slashing of shrubs and small vegetation, pruning of residual trees, and related work in compliance with its terms, specifications, and provisions. This work will be conducted using hand methods only (chain saw, brush cutter, etc.) - tracked or wheeled equipment may not be used for this contract. This includes furnishing labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals. This portion of Phase 2 of the Upper South Platte Project includes 907 acres of treatment for the required items.
