W912CH-27-R-A027 for BUTTSTOCK ASSEMBLY; NSN: 1005-01-576-8901
Solicitation # RA027
Solicitation W912CH-27-R-A027 is a request for proposal for a single five-year, firm-fixed-price requirements contract for the procurement of Buttstock Assemblies, NSN 1005-01-576-8901, Part Number 13026046. This procurement is 100% set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 332994. The government will evaluate proposals based on two factors, with the delivery schedule being significantly more important than price. Specifically, the delivery schedule for CLINs 0011 through 0015 will be rated as outstanding, good, or acceptable based on how many days sooner than the solicited schedule the contractor can begin deliveries. Proposals exceeding the required schedule by more than 45 days will be considered deficient and unawardable. The contract includes rigorous technical and security requirements, including a Technical Data Package with distribution code D and adherence to the TACOM Operations Security Plan and guidelines for Controlled Unclassified Information. Contractors must comply with MIL-STD-2073-1 and MIL-STD-129 for packaging and marking, and are required to perform First Article Approval-Contractor Testing. Invoicing and payment will be processed electronically through the Wide Area WorkFlow system. Proposals must be submitted in English and US dollars via email to the designated contract specialist and contracting officer by November 19, 2026, at 3:30 PM EST.

Responses may be submitted either electronically to the email address provided below or submitted via mail to the address provided below. Responses are requested by 30 November 2018. Earliest possible response is encouraged. Responses will be reviewed and additional information may be requested from individual vendors if desired by the Government. This RFI does not constitute a commitment from the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or be responsible for any monies expended by any interested party in support of the effort described above. The Government reserves the right to review and use the data submitted at its own discretion. Upon request, the Government will protect proprietary information from unwanted disclosure. Any such requests shall be submitted with the statement of capabilities. Send to copies of the responses to: Department of the Navy, Naval Air Systems Command (Attn: Janice Boynton, AIR-2.2.3.2.6), 47123 Buse Road, Unit #IPT, Building 2272, Suite 453, Patuxent River, MD 20670-1547.
