Please print and review the 470 application and refer to the RFP document for full details. Please reference Form 470 Number 260013840 on all correspondence. You must refer to the attached RFP document for full details. Please address technical questions to the Technical Contact. All cost proposals must reflect any available governmental unit discounts. Each line item on proposal should clearly list Quantity, Manufacturer, Part Number, Description, Unit Price, and Extended Price. Proposals MUST separate eligible and ineligible services by line item for all services to which service provider responds. If a product includes mixed functionality, please indicate the allocation for each function (i.e. 60% Internal Connections and 40% BMIC). Please note: USAC has advised applicants to include all three types of service on each Category 2 Form 470. Internal Connections and Basic Maintenance were included in the 470 application in case USAC deems any of the necessary software licenses to fit that category. . Anderson Public Library seeks services provided by a third party for the lease or purchase, operation, management, and monitoring of eligible broadband LAN/WLAN components (managed Wi-Fi), including installation, activation, and initial configuration of eligible components necessary for broadband connectivity within the Applicants facilities. We seek a 3-year contract with two, one-year voluntary extensions for eligible MIBS services under this agreement. Anderson Public Library understands that eligible Basic Maintenance of Internal Connections items are also sometimes necessary to provision a Managed Internal Broadband service and expects bidders to propose those as necessary. . The equipment listed on the RFP represents existing equipment owned by the library (with any associated licensing) and the library is not purchasing equipment at this time. Again, USAC has advised applicants to include all three types of service on each Category 2 Form 470. The library is seeking bids for MIBS, but Internal Connections and Basic Maintenance were included on the 470 application in the event that USAC deems any of the necessary software licenses to fit that category. The equipment listed on the RFP is projected to be managed under the requested service agreement. In your proposal, please also provide per-unit pricing for the management of growth/future additions of equipment similar to the equipment requested above in the contract. For clarity, this is to say that if your solution included 12 switches, your proposal would include pricing to provide and manage those 12 switches for the term requested, and also include the incremental additional (per-unit) price that would be charged to add and manage an additional access point under this contract should the Applicant need a 13th (or 14th, etc.) switch during the term of the agreement. This is merely an example; please refer to the equipment list above to understand the actual services being requested. . Questions related to the technical aspects of the 470 application and Managed Internal Broadband Services RFP, must be emailed to Colleen Gordillo, Assistant Director, at CGordillo@andersonlibrary.net, by no later than 4pm EST on Monday, January 26, 2026. The Applicants review of information will be primarily focused on the substance of the details provided in response to the requirements herein including but not limited to technical details, pricing and terms, experience, references, and adherence to the response format provided. Per E-rate rules, the cost of eligible goods and services will be the most heavily weighted evaluation factor. . Proposals must be prepared with specificity with regard to the equipment and/or services listed herein. This includes any SPAM and/or robotic responses. For more information, please review the USAC E-Rate News Brief of February 15, 2024. . Proposal Delivery Anderson Public Library reserves the right to reject each and every bid, and to waive informalities, irregularities, and errors in the bidding to the extent permitted by law. This includes the right to extend the date and time for receipt of bids. In the event that a responsible bid is not received or if it is determined that the low bid received is too high, the bid received will be rejected and the project will be cancelled or re-bid. . All correspondence must include Charity Hawkins, Consultant, at charity@adtecerate.com.
