THE DADE COUNTY, BOARD OF EDUCATION (the ¿Board¿), pursuant to the provisions of O.C.G.A. § 36-91-1, et. seq., herein seeks competitive Proposals from general contractors for the project known as: ¿Paving projects for Dade County High, Middle and Elementary Schools¿, located at 300 Tradition Lane, 250 Pace Drive, & 306 Wolverine Drive, Trenton, GA 30752 (the ¿Project¿).
The requirements for construction of the Project, and the duties and responsibilities of the contractor whose Proposal is accepted, are set forth in the Contract Documents which include the Instructions to Proposers; Contract for Construction and Incorporated General Conditions (the ¿Contract¿); supplementary and other conditions; the drawings; the specifications; and any addenda issued by the Architect.
In general, the project includes repairing and repaving parking lots and drives at Dade County High School, Dade Middle and Dade Elementary School and other work noted in the construction documents. The requirements for construction of the Project, and the duties and responsibilities of the contractor whose Proposal is accepted (¿Successful Contractor¿), are set forth in the Contract Documents which include the Instructions to Proposers; the Contract for Construction and Incorporated General Conditions (the ¿Contract¿); any supplementary and other conditions; the drawings; the specifications; and any addenda issued by the Architect.
Contractors interested in submitting Proposals must procure a complete set of the Contract Documents from Dade County School District website https://www.dadecountyschools.org/departmentsprograms/ finance/requests-for-proposals All addendum, including answers to contractor¿s questions, will be posted to the website. The Board reserves the right to make available other relevant documents or information concerning the Project.
