A site visit has been scheduled for 27 JULY 2026 at 1530 EDT. The location of the site visit will be Black Rock Lock at U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. For driving GPS location, use this address: 62 Dann Street, Buffalo, NY 14217.
This posting is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District, for the performance of required repairs to the Black Rock Lock (BRL) in Buffalo, NY. Damages were caused by an oversized vessel entering the BRL and contacting the structure. Contact was with an operating gate emergency egress ladder and fendering in multiple areas. These damages present potential for hazard to navigation and must be repaired. All work and materials must meet the references listed in Section 3 of the Statement of Work. The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this effort is 237990 -Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. This will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside competitive procurement. Please be advised that this requirement may be delayed, revised, or cancelled at any time before award.
